Taking Independence Day celebrations across borders

Worlds’ second largest viral content company Wittyfeed took its Independence Day celebrations beyond the borders this year.

In a unique initiative, the Indore-based company brought together youths from Indian and Pakistan with the objective of celebrating freedom and brotherhood, portraying that there are no borders which can separate the hearts of the two nations.

Kick-starting last month on July 25, Wittyfeed got excellent response from both the countries for their campaign ‘One Independence’. Many have expressed their views on “One Independence” via a selfie video which was viewed by over 55,000 people.

Vinay Singhal, the founder of Wittyfeed and CEO, said, “We believe that borders do not exist so why should we not connect over these boundaries and share an unconditional love for each other, which cannot be separated by any line of control. 70 years ago something happened. But, we work with each other every day. We talk to each other, and we fight with each other every day.”

The event was hosted by WittyFeed at their headquarters, on Saturday. It included a LIVE session with the renowned nail-sculpture artist, Wajid Khan (Guinness World Record Holder) and National Award winner musician, Souma Mukherjee.

The live coverage of the celebration was from 5 different cities of India & Pakistan- Islamabad, Delhi, Karachi, Mumbai and Pune, with the aim to spread the message of ‘One Independence’. The response was tremendous from all over the world to unite with the campaign to promote peace and prosperity among nations.

The live coverage of celebration from 5 different cities of India & Pakistan which are as follows; Islamabad, Delhi, Karachi, Mumbai and Pune saw a great response. Wittyfeed claims the reach rose as high as 1.5 million and they further expect it to rise to reach 10 million.

“There is so much common between us – culture, music, movies, passion, religion, sports, cricket, language and most importantly people! However, we are fed the stories of hate and animosity. We want to change all this. At least we want to try. The concept of #OneIndependence was to celebrate all of this and all that we do in common and share,” added Singhal.
