Azadi gives women in rural India an alternate women-led retail channel to access essential female healthcare and lifestyle products which are specifically designed to meet their affordability, quality and design needs. Along with leveraging trusted relationships between women, Azadi uses traditional media tools such as wall paintings, loudspeaker vans and street plays to effectively integrate itself within the community and position itself as the rural woman’s chosen retail solution.
