Ali Asgar Kagzi , an ex London School of Economics Graduate, was a Technology consultant in Accenture , United Kingdom. He was a Deployment Specialist for a leading UK Bank and managed a team of 8-10 engineers to oversee the final deployment of hardware and transition to the new network. Hailing from a small town himself, Ali swears by the power of education in transforming lives, which he learnt in his stint in Accenture London. His stint as an entrepreneur and starting Genext Students clearly shows his inclination towards knowledge and empowering the students teachers and Parents in India . While in Accenture London, he realised the power of technology in reforming the Indian Education ecosystem which has been largely afflicted by inadequate physical infrastructure (schools, colleges & educational institutions) and scarcity of skilled educators. The seed of thought of leveraging technology to create disruption in Indian education space was sown in his mind. The impact that Genext Students has created in India’s education space in a rather short span has been well recognized. It has been awarded as a winner of RED HERRING TOP 100 ASIA COMPANIES award (2016) and has been listed among TOP 40 EDU-TECH start-ups in Asia Pacific (2015). Recently Genext Students was chosen to represent India in'India China Investment Roadshow'. This first-of-its-kind event in association with Startup India.
