Interstate Love Song – Stone Temple Pilots
With Chester Bennington of Linkin Park donning the new vocalist role for STP’s upcoming tour, Scott Weiland is now out of the picture. But not the song. An all time favorite along with Plush, this was probably the most creative period for Stone Temple Pilots.

Pretty Child – Indus Creed
The second coming was an album that contained many cool hits, but Pretty Child truly catapulted the act into stardom. Be warned, these guys have jammed with Slash.

Mera Bichra Yaar – Strings ft Zoe Viccaji
Zoe Viccaji sings acapella with Strings for the Levi’s The Originals Inspire campaign. ‘Strings’ is the new face for LEVI’S along with Bilal Khan and Zoe Viccaji and this 2011 song is still quite popular today.
The band creates a new sensation with its interesting take on psychedelic sounds. With a curious album art that makes you want to hear it, this strain of electro pop is fun, yet intense. Barely a week old, this album is already getting quite an underground audience. We look forward to more from them.

Wahe Guru – Avi & The Uprising
This innovative folk piece makes the list because of the animation used in the video. ‘Rajmation’ uses grain, pulse and legume models to fashion out a series of constantly changing colourful landscapes.
Khoya Game Music Montage – Fuzzy Logic
Released with the fantasy app Khoya, this music montage actually suits the backdrop of an interactive game rather than an individual piece. It is still a very zoned-out track to listen to as Arfaaz Kagalwala, member of Fuzzy Logic, and frontman of Slow Down Clown, creates some very ambient backdrops.
So there you have it! Our very own playlist of some of the funkiest local and international sounds going around, with songs chosen by our own writers. We hope you enjoyed the tracks, and make sure to tune in next week for a whole different set!
