DrivoJoy and Shell partner, marking Shell’s entry into the two-wheeler servicing sector

One of the first start-ups to offer doorstep servicing of two-wheelers, DrivoJoy, today announced a new strategic partnership with lubricants brand – Shell. The two companies have tied up looking to bring the best two-wheeler servicing to customer’s doorstep. As lubricants partner, the association also marks Shell’s entry into the organised two-wheeler servicing sector.

DrivoJoy’s mechanics will receive skill training to help them deal with situational awareness and formulate streamlined responses to incidents. Shell will also be providing high-end lubricants and other necessary products.

Shell will get assistance from DrivoJoy in expanding its digital footprint as DrivoJoy will be showcasing Shell products on their websites, app, and other digital platforms. Shell also expects to witness an improvement in sales with the broadening of its customer base on Shell lubricants and other products. Brand awareness and engagement will take place through cross-promotional activities.

Aman Singhal, CEO  and Co-Founder of DrivoJoy, said, “We collectively aim to take a leap in customer outreach and turn this association into a mutually benefiting one. Along with training programs and loyalty schemes specially designed for DrivoJoy mechanics, this alliance will also engender several other opportunities towards unification of the 2-wheeler after sales ecosystem.”

Mr. Neeraj Bhatia, Chief Marketing Officer, Shell Lubricants added, “Digital is the new market space and this association not only provides an exciting platform for the brand to showcase our technologically advanced products and services, but also gives us an opportunity to extend our skill training modules to mechanics. We have always believed that mechanics are an important stakeholder in the service value chain. We hope a partnership like this will help us strengthen our position while extending our digital footprint.”
