Personal finance and marketplace leaders, BankBazaar.com announced their association with Swedish smart-calling app – Truecaller. Using their Truecaller credentials, BankBazaar users can now log on to the platform, instead of Google or Facebook for swift and easy access. This also implies that banks and other financial companies that have partnered with BankBazaar will receive genuine customers whose credentials are vetted twice over – by Truecaller and BankBazaar.
BankBazaar.com hosts one of the widest range of financial products and services from a large pool of public and private sector banks. They recently launched a completely paperless process for availing loans and credit cards from select partners. Through the tie-up with Truecaller, they are expecting to ease the financial journey of its users even more and add another layer of verification for its users that shop for personal finance products on their platform. Getting vetted by Truecaller, whose database includes more than 130 million users in India, will drastically reduce the chances of spammers applying for products.
Rati Shetty, CPO, BankBazaar.com, explained the strategy behind the tie-up, saying, “Our integration with Truecaller enables convenience in the experience so user does not need to go through a manual form filling process but simplifies the process via Truecaller’s one-click login to speed things up.”
Adding to that, Priyam Bose, Director of Worldwide Developer Relations at Truecaller, said, “Minimising friction is a critical metric, especially during user on-boarding in mobile apps, which leads to user delight and deep engagement apart from propelling growth. Truecaller’s TrueSDK has become the right fit for users and app businesses alike in fulfilling this critical need with its flexible and one touch phone number based sign in.”
