Disney to Remix Its Classic Tracks, EDM Style

Pandering to the current generation of EDM-obsessed crowds, Walt Disney Records has now joined the rest of the world by making their hearty contributions to the EDM frenzy – by announcing the release of an album titled DCONSTRUCTED on April 22, which will feature fourteen of the most iconic tracks from Disney’s animated films like The Lion King, Frozen, The Muppets and others that will be remixed by noteworthy DJs from around the world.

Few of the remixed singles from the album include “Circle of Life” (The Lion King), “The Muppet Show Theme” (The Muppets), “Hey Pluto!” (Mickey Mouse Cartoons) and “Once Upon a Dream” (Sleeping Beauty) that will be remixed by chart-topping EDM producers like Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade, Avicii, Mat Zo and others belonging to the upper league. While many are touting this to be a great economic move by Disney, naysayers are sure that this album will permanently ruin the innocence of their childhood.
