With more than 150 hotels under its franchise and an existing presence in more than 20 cities, FabHotels now expands to Indore and Coimbatore adding nearly 30 new hotels in the last month. With focus on business travellers, the company has almost managed to add a hotel a day in January looking to provide reliable and value-for-money stay experience.
Speaking on the announcement, Founder, Vaibhav Aggarwal said, “We started 2017 by expanding to two new business cities and this year we are looking to almost triple the number of hotels under our network.”
Under its asset-light franchisee model, the brand partners with small hotels with an average inventory of 20-25 rooms and enables them to provide high quality stay experience to business travellers. FabHotels uses custom-tech to solve service consistency and yield management issues for guests and hoteliers, respectively.
FabHotels spends large amount of time in providingtraining support, custom tech, start-to-finish project consultation, manpower hiring support and procurement support to its hotel partners.
Vaibhav further added, “Our in-house tech is helping us immensely to scale so fast while maintaining industry-leading repeat rates.”
With its recent expansion, FabHotels now claims to have higher number of rooms under management than LemonTree or Ginger hotels. They also claim that small hotel operators typically witness more than 50% surge in their business after associating with the brand – leading to high loyalty with the chain.
Reportedly, India is expected to become the 6th largest business travel market in the world by the end of 2019. Indian economy hotel market size is worth $10B.
