Seattle is the first city in the United States to enjoy this new grocery store concept. Other cities such as Dallas are ready to have this type of store come to their area as well. This type of shopping concept is very new to people and generally an uncharted one.

How Does The Store Concept Work?
The whole store experience is created around Amazon’s Go App. It can be downloaded on both iOS and Android phones. When you first enter the store, you scan the app on your phone using one of the turnstiles at the entrance. Once checked in, you will be able to go shopping in the store and grab whatever you want to purchase. Put the items in your bag and the Go app will automatically ring up your items without the need to scan each one.
Many customers are wondering how the store will know exactly which items you pick up and whether it can tell if you put any items back. There are cameras throughout the whole store monitoring the items you choose.

The store which is located in Washington is around 1,800 square feet in size. It is compact and set up in a way where customers are able to get in and out in a snap. It is only open during the weekdays currently from 7AM to 9PM.
What Things Can Be Purchased In The Store?
The Amazon Go store has many types of foods to be purchased just like a normal grocery store. They have many ready-to-eat options as well for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even snacks. They are all made by their own chefs and some of the company’s favorite local bakeries and kitchens. The selection of grocery items will range from staples such as milk and bread to things like artisan cheeses and local-made sweets.
The store will also offer their specially-designed Amazon Meal Kits. These kits will come with everything you need to prepare a meal for two people in around 30 minutes or less.
How Do You Shop At The Amazon Go Store?
It is easy to get set up and ready to shop at the Amazon Go Store. All you need is a free Amazon account and to download the Amazon Go app on your phone. You don’t have to have an Amazon Prime membership in order to shop at the store. Once you walk into the store, you will be able to scan your app at the turnstile.
You will not have to have your phone out while you are walking around and shopping. Once signed into the store, you are able to browse like any other grocery store. After you are done picking out the items you want to purchase, you can just walk out! It is that simple and there are no lines to wait in. Your Amazon account will be charged for the items that you picked up and took with you out of the store.
