Amaresh Ojhais the Founder and CEO of Gympik, an online fitness discovery platform committed towards making fitness and wellness accessible to people from every nook and corner of the country. As a start-up Founder, Mr. Ojha’s chief responsibilities include developing unconventional solutions from ground up. He is heading the company’s business strategy, product development and scalability while ensuring innovation that cuts across every function and aspects of the business. Gympik offers cloud-based software and a personalized app for fitness centers to make their offerings more personalized. A fitness enthusiast, he left his 10 years long techie career to follow his passion as an entrepreneur in the Gym and fitness industry. Before founding Gympik, the fitness discovery Platform, Mr. Ojha worked as an engineer, developer, Scrum Master in companies such as Sun Microsystems, Aris Global, Iron Mountain, Cisco and Intuit and then joined IIM Bangalore. With entrepreneurial ambitions in mind, he joined an online jewellery firm Bluestoneas a Technical Lead to learn how a startup is run. He found that most of the gym goers were looking for personal trainers but found it difficult to find one. Thisidea led to the genesis of Gympik. Mr. Ojha is committed to expand Gympik to all major cities in India and make quality fitness accessible and available to everyone. Mr. Ojha is very passionate about fitness, wellness and health and loves to help people reach their personal fitness goals. He lives with his wife and a 4 year old son.
