This collaboration aims to provide a platform for innovative startups to receive mentoring in India and connect with prospects and investors in the UK.
Empowering Sustainable Innovations
The Royal Academy of Engineering’s Leaders in Innovation Fellowships (LIF) program is dedicated to nurturing scalable innovations that address global environmental, economic, and societal challenges. CIE-IIIT Hyderabad, as the Royal Academy of Engineering’s partner in India, is playing a crucial role in identifying and supporting startups that are making significant strides in sustainable development.
Eight Selected Startups
The program has selected eight standout Indian startups: Nariksha Pads, Pola, Quavilon, ASHA+, Hydroverse, SmartKosh, Revalu, and Precue. These startups will benefit from comprehensive support, including training, mentoring, and access to an international network, to help them commercialize their technologies and thrive in the competitive UK market.

Selected innovators will work towards advancing solutions that address the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The LIF program offers tailored support to these startups, providing them with the necessary resources to develop and scale their solutions, ultimately impacting communities worldwide.
Fostering Global Innovation
Funded by the UK Department for Science, Innovation, and Technology’s International Science Partnership Fund, these programs are instrumental in fostering global innovation with local impact. The collaboration between CIE-IIIT Hyderabad and the Royal Academy of Engineering is a testament to their commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and driving positive change through cutting-edge engineering solutions.
A Platform for Collaboration and Investment
The India training event, hosted in Goa, provided startups with a platform to showcase their innovations, engage with industry experts, and explore collaboration and investment opportunities. This event served as a stepping stone for these startups to connect with the global innovation ecosystem and accelerate their growth.
