Sparkle Clean Tech Targets UAE Oil and Gas Market With Al Masaood Partnership and ADNOC Qualification

Indian engineering company Sparkle Clean Tech (SCT) is accelerating its international expansion with a strategic partnership with Al Masaood in the United Arab Emirates and a key qualification milestone with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

Announced on October 22, 2026, the partnership with Al Masaood’s Projects & Engineering Services Division (PESD) is designed to strengthen SCT’s local presence and improve its ability to pursue water and wastewater treatment projects across the UAE and the wider region.

The company has also completed registration and qualification with ADNOC for demineralization (DM) plants, positioning it to pursue relevant opportunities within the UAE’s energy industry.

Al Masaood Partnership Could Expand SCT’s UAE Reach

The collaboration gives Sparkle Clean Tech a local business platform as it seeks to increase its participation in industrial and infrastructure projects.

Abu Dhabi-based Al Masaood is a diversified business group with operations across sectors including oil and gas, power, petrochemicals, utilities, marine services and heavy equipment.

SCT expects the partnership to help it engage more closely with regional customers and explore projects requiring specialized water-treatment systems.

Sumeet Mehra, CEO and president of Sparkle Clean Tech, said expanding in the UAE was an important part of the company’s international growth strategy. He described the partnership as a platform for connecting with regional industries, while the ADNOC qualification strengthens its ability to pursue relevant projects.

Dr Khursheed Alam, general manager of Al Masaood PESD, highlighted demand for dependable and efficient water-treatment solutions across the UAE’s energy and industrial sectors. He said SCT’s technical expertise could support customers with specialized treatment requirements.

ADNOC Qualification Strengthens Industrial Ambitions

SCT’s registration and qualification for demineralization plants represents another step in its UAE expansion.

Demineralization systems remove dissolved mineral salts from water, helping produce water suitable for industrial processes that require carefully controlled water quality. Such systems can be important in energy facilities and other operations where mineral deposits may damage equipment or affect performance.

SCT’s broader portfolio includes industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse and recycling, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, effluent treatment and zero liquid discharge systems.

The company says it has completed more than 1,000 projects across industrial and infrastructure sectors during over two decades of operations.

Its customer industries include oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, defense and semiconductors, among other water-intensive sectors.

ADIPEC 2026 to Showcase Water-Treatment Technology

Sparkle Clean Tech will also present its technologies at ADIPEC 2026, the major energy industry exhibition and conference held annually in Abu Dhabi.

Its showcase will focus on produced-water treatment and oil-water separation technologies. These include flotation systems, corrugated plate interceptors, nutshell filters, hydrocyclones, and ultrafiltration solutions.

Produced water, which emerges during oil and gas extraction, can contain hydrocarbons, suspended solids and other contaminants. Treatment technologies help separate these substances, supporting water management and potential reuse where appropriate.

The exhibition will provide SCT with an opportunity to demonstrate its capabilities to companies operating across the regional energy value chain.

Indian Water-Treatment Firm Pursues International Growth

Sparkle Clean Tech operates a manufacturing and research and development facility spanning nearly 200,000 square feet in Khopoli, Navi Mumbai, and employs approximately 200 people.

Its UAE strategy builds on its engineering, manufacturing, and project-execution capabilities in water and wastewater treatment.

The Al Masaood partnership and ADNOC qualification strengthen its position as it pursues international business opportunities. However, the announcements do not specify the value of potential contracts or confirm that it has been awarded new projects.

With its ADIPEC 2026 showcase approaching, SCT will be looking to convert its expanded regional presence into business opportunities across the UAE’s energy and industrial sectors.
