Uniqus Consultech Raises $10 Million in Series B Funding to Fuel Growth and Innovation

Uniqus Consultech, a global tech-enabled platform offering ESG and Accounting & Reporting Consulting, has secured $10 million in Series B funding. The funding round, led by Nexus Ventures with participation from Sorin Investments, comes amidst the company’s rapid growth and the launch of new innovative solutions.

In just over a year since its inception, Uniqus has experienced substantial expansion, establishing offices in eight cities across the US, India, and the Middle East. The company boasts a team of over 350 high-performing professionals, including 40 Partners and Directors, serving a diverse clientele of more than 150 clients. During this period of growth, Uniqus has introduced several groundbreaking solutions, including an AI Assistant for financial reporting and ESG, as well as a tech platform for ESG data management and reporting.

Uniqus attributes its success to a unique blend of an integrated global delivery model, tech-enabled consulting, and an attractive equity incentive plan. This combination has enabled the company to attract top-tier talent and secure partnerships with leading global clients.

The latest funding injection will propel Uniqus into its next phase of growth, focusing on expanding its existing solutions, launching new service offerings, and entering new geographical markets. The company also plans to continue investing in technology to enhance its service delivery and client experience.

Nexus Venture Partners, a venture fund with a focus on enterprise technology and Digital India spaces, expressed excitement about Uniqus’ innovative cloud delivery model and proprietary technology. Anup Gupta from Nexus Ventures emphasized that Uniqus leverages technology and talent to deliver a holistic and compelling value proposition for its clients.

Sorin Investments, an early-stage tech fund founded by private equity veteran Sanjay Nayar, highlighted the significant opportunities in Uniqus’ chosen markets of India, the US, and the Middle East. Sanjay Nayar expressed confidence in Uniqus’ ability to execute and capitalize on these opportunities to redefine the consulting landscape.

Jamil Khatri, Co-Founder & CEO of Uniqus, expressed gratitude for the positive response from clients, talent, and the wider ecosystem, which has fueled the company’s rapid growth.
