The Indian School of Business (ISB) has launched the Post Graduate Programme for Young Leaders (PGP YL), a 20-month management course designed specifically for fresh graduates and early career professionals with up to two years of work experience. Set to commence in mid-2025. This programme reflects the industry needs and ISB’s response to developing future business leaders equipped to tackle the evolving challenges of the global business landscape.
Post Graduate Programme for Young Leaders (PGP YL) is ISB’s answer to the growing demand for young professionals who blend foundational business knowledge and advanced technical skills in data, analytics, and technology. The programme’s curriculum will combine traditional business principles with cutting-edge courses to nurture innovative problem-solving abilities among students. Through this, ISB seeks to prepare graduates to seamlessly step into dynamic roles requiring business acumen and technical expertise.
A significant aspect of the PGP YL curriculum is its emphasis on experiential learning. Students will participate in hands-on learning experiences through ISB’s Business Design Lab and Innovation Lab. These labs foster creativity and innovation by allowing students to apply classroom knowledge in practical business settings. In addition, the programme includes a mandatory two-month summer internship, offering students real-world exposure to different industries and business environments.
ISB’s renowned faculty and international professors from top B-schools will teach the PGP YL. This ensures students receive a global perspective on business challenges and opportunities. Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean of ISB, emphasized the importance of this programme in addressing industry needs: “Our conversations with industry leaders have highlighted the demand for young professionals with a strong grasp of business and technology. The PGP YL will develop these leaders of tomorrow.”
The admissions process for the PGP YL includes submitting valid GMAT, GRE, or CAT scores, academic records and application essays. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising industry leaders, academicians, and ISB alumni. The programme fee for 2025-27 is ₹21.65 lakh, with accommodation costing ₹3.95 lakh.
