Laxman Rao, an author, publisher, a known and respected individual who also sells tea on the roadside of ITO area in Delhi. Yes, he is a Chaiwallah! But that didn’t stop him from penning more than 20 novels and plays. Not just writing, he also publishes and distributes these novels.
A marathi at heart, Laxman Rao insists on writing only in Hindi language and has been rewarded and recognised by eminent constitutional heads like Late Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Former President Mrs. Pratibha Patil and many more. His books, such as Ramdas, Renu, Nayi Duniya Ki Nayi Kahai and many more, are available at Delhi Public Library and many school libraries.
