Get Set for Johnny Walker’s One-Day Festival ‘The Journey’

Earmarked to take place on December 14 at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios is the Johnny Walker-backed one-day cultural festival titled The Journey. The event will act as a melting pot of cultures across various disciplines including music, theatre and film. British prog band The Alan Parsons Project, avant-garde filmmaker Qaushiq Mukherjee’s (aka ‘Q’) film Tasher Desh, and the South African Handspring Theatre Company’s show Ouroboros will be prime attractions at this 7-hour long event.

The coming together of a film, a band performance, and a puppet show marks a ‘progressive movement’ amongst the Indian consumers of the alternative, where opinions on culture possessed by the performing artistes will tell the tale of their personal progress.
