Kris Gopalakrishnan, Co-Founder, Infosys has invested in Chennai-based speech recognition solutions company Uniphore in its Series A funding round. This round will add fuel to Uniphore’s worldwide expansion and product technology improvement. The company’s solutions provide speech solutions to improve human-machine interaction and enable any software to recognize and respond to real human speech.

Uniphore’s vision lends possibility of finding a solution to this very difficult problem and the company has already made substantial progress.” said Kris Gopalakrishnan, Infosys Co-Founder and investor in Uniphore.
According to Umesh Sachdev, co-founder and CEO, Uniphore Software Systems, Kris’s involvement in the company will give a huge amount of confidence and provide Uniphore to direct itself in the right direction towards building a bigger and better infrastructure. Umesh also said that the Series A funds will attract a great amount of talent the high-tech industry has to offer.
