John Mayer is releasing a new song titled ‘Love on the Weekend’ on Nov 17 and teases with a solo rift

In an Instagram post earlier this week, John Mayer announced that he’ll be dropping a new song titled ‘Love on the Weekend’ on November 17.

The “Body is a Wonderland” and “Gravity” hit maker hasn’t released new solo music since his 2014 single “XO”. While there has not been very many details revealed on the album so far, Steve Jordan – drummer of the John Mayer Trio – however, did reveal that the new collection will be called ‘The Search for Everything’.

John Mayer’s last studio album, Paradise Valley, was back in 2013. Obviously, his fans are (not so) patiently waiting for new tunes. Earlier today, Mayer posted another teaser, which may not be a part of the new song, again on Instagram of a solo rift in the studio saying “Took a pass of a solo just for you… now on to the one for the record”.
