Yeat Appears to Fire Brutal Diss at Travis Scott on New Track ‘ON NOTHING’

Yeat appears to have taken his frustration public, dropping a surprise new track packed with shots at Travis Scott just days after his verse disappeared from a Young Thug collaboration.

The rap world may have another feud brewing. Yeat has released “ON NOTHING,” a surprise track that appears to take direct aim at Travis Scott, with repeated references to Scott’s famous “La Flame” nickname and lyrics accusing an unnamed target of being a “puppet.”

The timing is impossible to ignore. Yeat’s verse was recently removed from Young Thug’s “Eaters”, a track that originally featured the rapper alongside Travis Scott, Future and Tezzus. Now, just days later, Yeat has released a song seemingly aimed at “Flame.”

Yeat Takes Aim at “Flame”

The track wastes little time before going after its apparent target.

In the chorus, he raps about putting out a “flame,” while another section takes the reference even further.

“I don’t fuck with Flame,” Yeat says, before delivering a series of lines that appear to mock Travis Scott’s nickname and question his independence.

The most explosive lyric comes when Yeat declares: “You do what they tell you to say, you a muthaf*ckin’ puppet.”

Yeat never explicitly names Travis Scott in the lyrics, meaning the connection remains an interpretation rather than a confirmed statement from either rapper. But the repeated “Flame” references have made the intended target look increasingly obvious to fans.

The ‘Eaters’ Mystery Just Got Much Louder

The apparent diss arrives less than a week after Yeat’s verse disappeared from Young Thug’s “Eaters.”

The song was initially released with contributions from Young Thug, Travis Scott, Future, Yeat and Tezzus. By August 31, however, listeners noticed that Yeat’s contribution had been removed.

That immediately triggered speculation online.

Reports claimed that an artist involved with the song had allegedly given Young Thug an ultimatum involving Yeat’s verse. The identity of that artist has not been publicly confirmed, and there is no definitive evidence establishing that Travis Scott made such a demand.

Yeat’s new track, however, has poured fuel on the speculation.

Why Fans Are Pointing at Travis Scott

There are other pieces of the puzzle that have sent fans into detective mode.

Earlier this year, Yeat collaborated with Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott’s former partner, on “Let King Tonka Talk.”

That collaboration by itself does not prove a conflict between Yeat and Scott. But alongside the “Eaters” controversy and the sudden appearance of “Flame” references on “ON NOTHING,” it has become part of the fan theory surrounding the track.

There is also precedent for tension involving Yeat and Scott on another release.

Earlier in 2026, the Yeat and Sheck Wes collaboration “TRIP OUT” was removed from streaming versions of Travis Scott’s JACKBOYS 2 compilation.

The latest track therefore arrives with considerably more baggage than a random surprise release.

Yeat Appeared to Laugh Off the Verse Removal

When fans first noticed Yeat had disappeared from “Eaters,” the rapper appeared relatively unfazed, reportedly responding on Instagram with a laughing emoji.

But the mood appeared to change ahead of “ON NOTHING.”

The rapper posted what appeared to be threatening messages concerning the release, including warnings about damaging his career and his team.

The messages have not been independently verified, and it remains unclear who sent them or whether they were connected to Travis Scott or anyone in his camp.

Is Yeat Confirming the Rumours?

Not exactly.

“ON NOTHING” strongly invites listeners to connect the dots, but he has not publicly stated that the song is a Travis Scott diss. Scott has also not publicly confirmed that he was the person behind the alleged “Eaters” ultimatum.

That distinction matters.

Still, in hip-hop, artists do not always need to say a name. Sometimes a nickname, a few pointed bars and the timing of a release are enough to start a fire.

And Yeat appears to have supplied plenty of fuel.
