With more than 3,000 outfits in its existing inventory, CoutLoot – an end to end fashion re-commerce platform – has announced the launch of its foray into ethnic wear. CoutLoot endeavours to focus on the ethnic fashion space which it claims has so far been untapped, when it comes to pre-owned segment. At heavy discounts of nearly 80%, buyers can avail of outfits from popular Indian designers such as Sabyasachi, Anita Dongre, Ritu Kumar and more.
CoutLoot enables people to buy and sell authentic pre-loved fashion directly from one’s own closet. The platform takes care of the entire value chain – from free doorstep pickups, sanitising and ensuring authenticity to deliveries and returns. This allows for buyers and sellers to emphasise on what to sell and buy to replace their style staples.
Selling on CloutLoot is restricted to only 14 cities in India – including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Surat and Jaipur – however, they deliver all over India. Selling and buying can be done via CoutLoot’s Android and iOS apps, its website can also be accessed for buying across all regions of the country.
Speaking on the launch, Jasmeet Thind, Co-founder, CoutLoot, said, “Every year, millions of ethnic outfits are bought by us during the festivities but they are hardly ever repeated. CoutLoot is also planning to start a section for buying and selling of wedding and bridal fashion – considering that over 1 crore weddings take place in metro cities annually.
