At the second edition of the Nasscom Product Conclave, Nasscom announced that it had entered into a strategic partnership with the Kerala government to launch a startup warehouse in Kochi backed by TBI Technopark. This will be a move to build a micro-ecosystem where early stage startup founders can work together to discuss and share their knowledge and best practices.
This conclave will act as a platform for emerging product companies to access knowledge and support available in the ecosystem. It will also serve as a platform for global and Indian product industry, serial entrepreneurs, CIOs, investors, customers, VCs, angel investors, incubators, government officials and industry thought leaders to participate and engage in execution models and insights for different products.
Nasscom vice president Rajiv Vaishnav said “Kochi is rapidly evolving as the hub for Indian start-ups and Nasscom is confident that the city has the ability to create great advances to support the product start-ups ecosystem as well. Our focus with this will be to create opportunities for innovative product companies to showcase and promote their products.”
He further added that the Indian product industry has grown rapidly over the years due to the increasing accessibility to factors like technology, people and opportunity.
