With a double major in Bioinformatics and Computer Science from the Silicon Valley, he became an entrepreneur right out of college. He built a successful software services company called Monsoon in California prior to starting Junglee Games. He is an angel investor and advisor to several startups with strategy and product as his core strengths. Ankush bootstrapped Monsoon Company and then Junglee Games into successful and profitable businesses and has built teams of over 100 people in-house with global offices in California, India, Argentina and Hong Kong. Ankush believes that nothing comes close to the adrenaline rush of building things from scratch, scaling products and teams. In his opinion, there is no bigger reward than starting and building something amazing and looking back and celebrating that you did it successfully. Having spent most of his life in Silicon Valley, he has always been surrounded by the brightest minds. Ankush doesn't have one single role model but takes inspiration from those who challenge the status quo. This includes fellow entrepreneurs, team members, investors as well as partners. Five years from now, Ankush sees Junglee Games fighting bigger fires to keep up with the vision with more strategy and focussed time. He wants to further scale the existing products of the company and expand into new markets. He is driven by the mission of building games that bring joy and entertainment into people’s lives. Besides applying his business acumen in the gaming arena, Ankush other passions are kitesurfing and reading. He is currently reading ‘Modern Buddhism’ and ‘Everything is Bullshit’. Complementing his passion for his job, he desires his Epitaph to read "He hustled and he played!”
