Padel League Builds International Ambitions
Licensed and managed by Iconik Sports and Events Ltd., the World Padel League is positioned as a franchise-based international competition bringing together elite players, team owners and entertainment elements.
The league initially debuted in the UAE before making its India entry in February 2025.
Since then, WPL has sought to expand the profile of padel by combining international talent with a spectator-focused format.
Season 4’s broadcast expansion could prove particularly important to those ambitions. By bringing the Mumbai competition to viewers across more than 200 countries, the league is attempting to move beyond its regional roots and establish a broader international following.
With the world’s best players competing across six franchises and a growing global broadcast network behind it, World Padel League Season 4 represents the league’s most ambitious attempt yet to take padel to a worldwide audience.
