Bruno Mars has jokingly entered the chat after Drake stole the spotlight with Karol G during her Houston concert, turning a surprise guest appearance into a playful social-media moment involving three of pop music’s biggest stars.
Drake made an unexpected appearance at Karol G’s Reliant Stadium show in Houston on Sunday, September 27, during her ongoing Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour. The rapper joined the Colombian superstar for their collaboration “Ahí” before performing “Janice STFU” and “One Dance.”
But footage of Drake dancing with Karol G during “One Dance” caught Bruno Mars’ attention.
Bruno Mars Has a Message for Drake
On Monday, September 28, Bruno Mars posted a playful Instagram reaction video of himself looking out an airplane window.
“When you see Drake dancing with your Latina crush in 4 K @karolg @champagnepapi,” Mars wrote, adding: “Respond to me asap!! I have to get her back! I must get her back! I will get her back!”
The joking post quickly became another chapter in the increasingly entertaining connection between Mars, Drake and Karol G.
Fans immediately joined in, with some suggesting the three artists settle the playful “rivalry” in the recording studio by making a song together. Others pointed out that Bruno Mars has now experienced the same kind of playful jealousy his fans have teased him about before.
Drake and Karol G Set Houston Crowd Off
Drake’s surprise appearance was already one of the biggest moments of Karol G’s Houston show. The pair performed “Ahí,” their collaboration from Karol G’s latest album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto.
Drake then stayed onstage for “Janice STFU” and “One Dance,” with the latter producing the dance footage that prompted Mars’ reaction. The Houston Chronicle also highlighted Drake’s appearance as a major moment of the concert, which featured more than two hours of music and elaborate production.
The appearance also underlined how closely connected the three stars currently are musically.
Drake appears on Karol G’s album, while Mars features on the project through “Still,” giving the Colombian singer collaborations with both artists.

Mars and Karol G previously shared the stage at her August 15 concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

For now, there is no indication that Bruno Mars, Drake and Karol G are planning a joint track. But fans wasted little time pitching the idea after Mars’ post.

For the moment, however, Mars appears to be keeping the “love triangle” firmly in joke territory.
