International Women’s Day, initially called International Working Women’s Day, is celebrated every year on March 8th to commemorate the struggle for Women’s Rights. While things have progressed there are some pockets of development that still need to be worked upon.
However, in celebrating Women, we take a look at those in India’s Startup ecosystem that are an inspiration. In age these women range from early 20s to mid 40s and defy the odds of the ‘stereotypical’ society we live in. They are their own bosses and have impacted multiple people’s lives with their work – directly or indirectly. Here’s to the Women Entrepreneurs who dared to #TakeThePlunge
