Swiggy launches operations in Jaipur with over 300 restaurant partners to begin with

Offering city dwellers convenience, choice and reliability, Swiggy is now primed to weave their services with the royal city after having tied up with some of Jaipur’s iconic restaurants including Kanha, Doodh Misthan Bhandaar and Tapri.

After launching in Chandigarh recently, Swiggy announced its entry into Jaipur and has roped in over 300 restaurants in the Pink City. In addition to these, the food ordering platform is currently operating in Delhi NCR, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Ahmedabad.

The food delivery startup will also be looking to launch operations in Mohali, Panchkula and Zirakpur it said. The company now has in excess of 20,000 restaurant partners across India and in May, 2017 it was valued at $400 million when they raised a $80 million round of funding that was led by Naspers.



Offering city dwellers convenience, choice and reliability, Swiggy is now primed to weave their services with the royal city after having tied up with some of Jaipur’s iconic restaurants including Kanha, Doodh Misthan Bhandaar and Tapri.

A report quoted Srivats TS, VP – Marketing, Swiggy saying, “Jaipur is known for both its rich cultural and culinary heritage. Over the last few years, the city has seen a slew of exciting new eateries and cafes that have enriched its gastronomical choices further. Jaipurites are now enjoying everything from Baati Chokha to Caesar Salads.”

Swiggy has also managed some exclusive tie-ups with eating joints like jaipur’s DMB and Agrawal Caterers – who did not previously have the option of home deliveries.

To ensure that their users have access to the choicest restaurants, customers will also enjoy a wider radius of as much as six kilometers without a minimum order value.
