Off his new EP Koocha Monster which fuses the raw energy of South Indian street and folk music with his signature bass heavy sound, this is one track that really stands out and is already hugely popular in his live set. Check it out!

The Shins – New Slang

This song, which has been featured in dozens of movies, is an epic punk statement. James Mercer, the composer, has stated in an interview that at the time he wrote the song, he wanted to get out of his “home town, job, relationship and life”.
