Digital payments platform, FreeCharge has partnered with Ridlr, the official mobile ticketing partners of BEST. Availing of the services, BEST commuters can now pay for bus tickets and monthly passes digitally.
Creating a system of better cash management and less dependency on cash, BEST is the first public intra-city bus agency in India to go fully digital. All users have to do to book a BEST ticket is board the necessary bus, enter the bus and trip details and pay accordingly, using the FreeCharge wallet to get their token which can then be showed to the conductor – when asked for printed ticket. In order to recharge the BEST pass, a user simply has to enter the 14 digit card number, pay the amount using FreeCharge and validate it from the conductor on the next trip.
Looking to make daily urban commutes convenient, in addition to the partnership with Ridlr, FreeChare also has tie-ups with redbus, Rapido, Jugnoo, Shuttl and mybustickets.in to make commuting hassle-free.
