CarDekho’s virtual tour brings Auto Expo 2016 to life

CarDekho, an online automobile portal has developed a virtual tour of Auto Expo 2016. First time that a player provided a virtual reality tour of the entire Auto Expo, which is the largest auto event in the country.

“ExpoDekho with CarDekho” which was the event was made possible with the help of innovative, state-of-the-art 360 imaging and mapping technology native to CarDekho after the company acquired Drishya360s last year. A team of 360 imaging experts photographed the pavilions of 21 OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, BMW, Audi, Honda, Triumph, Benelli and Suzuki among many others to bring the experience of life.

“We are very excited to bring this new feature to millions of auto enthusiasts who’d love to see the Auto Expo but cannot travel to Delhi NCR. This virtual tour of Auto Expo 2016 was made with cutting-edge technology to enable an immersive experience for auto fans all over India who could not attend the event, said Amit Jain, co-founder and CEO, CarDekho.

Talking about the event at Greater Noida, he further added, “We at CarDekho are doing something which is far beyond the basic search and enquire model currently followed by auto portals.
