NASSCOM 10K Start-up program to host ‘Get in the Ring’ challenge in Hyderabad
Fast emerging as a startup with many of its startups making it big in the market, Hyderabad will be holding the second chapter of ‘Get in the Ring’ (GITR) challenge – Impact Chapter: Startup Challenge. Hosted by National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM), the programme is scheduled for 13th – 15th April.
GITR is a unique startup pitching model mimicking a boxing match that assesses the potential of a startup in quick five 30-second back to back duels between two competitors standing in a ring.
Rajat Tandon, Vice President, NASSCOM 10 K start-up program, said, “Our aim is to provide an ideal platform for young entrepreneurs giving them extended exposure to the international investor community.”
There will be five rounds, ending in a Q&A and a vote for the winner by the Champion judges and the audience. The Hyderabad Impact Chapter is expecting over 300+ startups and a total of 1,000+ delegates from 80+ countries – including mentors, investors, entrepreneurs from around the world who are willing to invest heavily in the Indian startup ecosystem.
Jochem Cuppen, global director of Get in the Ring (GITR)commented, “In the last two years, India has emerged as the new hotbed for startups and talent worldwide.”
With $100 million funding available in the event, the event will be attended by people from across countries.
