Lily Allen’s Dishy New Single Spells Controversy

Titled “Hard Out Here”, British singer Lily Allen’s new single satirizes the entire recent phenomenon that has plagued the pop music industry. Tongue firmly in cheek, she pokes fun at Miley Cyrus’s twerking antics and Robin Thicke’s lyrics that objectify women. In line with her sarcasm against sexualisation of women, she even hints subtly that it’s “hard out here for a bitch” referring to herself.
