Matchmaking app for differently-abled Inclov raises 1 crore
Looking to redesign its Android app and launch its iOS version, Gurgaon-based match-making app for differently abled Inclov has raised Rs 1 crore in a seed round of funding Sarbvir Singh, former managing director of Capital 18, and media entrepreneur Raghav Bahl-led digital news venture Quintillion Media Pvt.
It was first reported by Techcircle.
Inclov had last raised about Rs 6.5 lakhs on Wishberry last August, when it used the funds to build the prototype of the app and was even tested with 50 people to ensure ease of operation by the differently abled.
The company aims to go global with the app. It has till date registered 1,300 matches. More than 4,000 profiles of differently abled are listed on the app.
People with visual impairment, retina disorder, cerebral palsy and colour blindness among many others can easily access this app without any dependency on friends and family members.
Inclov is globally the first matchmaking app which is accessible to one billion people with disability worldwide and matches people on the basis cure availability, medical condition, level of independence and lifestyle choices.
The various security measures the app uses like- mobile verification, email verification, profile curation, first name only display and in-chat feature- makes it safe for women.
