Papon Makes Acting Debut with Assamese Film Rodor Sithi

Angaraag Mahanta, aka Papon, the man who lit up the world of Assamese folk music by bringing it to the masses, has now entered the world of films. He will be seen playing the role of a scientist as protagonist in the Assamese musical film Rodor Sithi. Director Bahrul Islam has even brought on singer Zubeen Garg as the other lead cast alongside Papon.

The film essentially deals with the subject of nature and its interplay with human relationships. Besides acting in the film Papon will also be singing to the compositions of Garg. The audio for the film is slated for a release on December 25.
