HelpChat ties up with Zomato to simplify customers’ food ordering

Aiming to make the food ordering experience simpler and better, personal assistant chat app HelpChat has partnered with Zomato, which helps it get integrated directly into Zomato’s app. Users will now be able to search for, and order food online via Zomato from within the Helpchat app.

Helpchat comes to a step closer to its objective of fulfilling a diverse set of needs for its users through this tie-up. This partnership will also help them to significantly reduce their customer acquisition cost.

Ankur Singla, CEO and Founder, Helpchat said, “Through API integrations with leading businesses, we are fulfilling our promise of being the ultimate personal assistant for all our users. Helpchat users can now discover new restaurants, as well as order food based on their preferences using our one-stop app.”


“Going forward, we will be looking at onboarding many more curated partners to enhance the bouquet of offerings for our customers. These users ordering food have very high cross-category usage pattern as well. We’ve seen close to 60% of them taking cab rides and 80% of them doing Recharge on our platform,” Singla added.

Helpchat & Zomato Tie Up

With this partnership, Helpchat will be able to anticipate users’ food-related needs and will suggest the best places to eat and help them in ordering food based on personal preferences. Helpchat currently has over 1.5 million downloads on android and iOS platforms.

For example, it will contextually surface the food card besides the Match Score when users intent to order food is very high. Helpchat has passed on over 1,500 orders a day during peak times in June to Zomato. Food orders on Helpchat powered by Zomato have typically doubled on days when there is an important event like a cricket match.
