Paytm, the mobile payment and commerce platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with Suzuki Motorcycles Pvt Ltd. Customers will be able to book and buy Suzuki two wheeler models from more than 400 Suzuki dealers on Paytm. Additionally Suzuki will also have a brand store on Paytm.
Paytm will also offer vehicle financing to customers buying the vehicles. It hopes to sell more than than 10,000 vehicles through its platform. This strategic tie up follows Paytms decision to launch vehicle financing and insurance services in order to consolidate their position in the automobile industry. The company currently offers vehicles from brands like Honda, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, Datsun, Hero, Yamaha and Mahindra among others.
