With the objective of bringing together exciting and disruptive startups and SMEs, the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore, is en route to holding Asia’s largest congregation at World Startup Expo 2016 this November.
Being powered by the Middle East based venture capital firm, Cocoon Ventures, who have plans to bring a global network of investors to invest in India, this would be a great opportunity for innovative minds.
Other executives from top corporations, government agencies, incubators, investors, HNWIs, VC funds, banks, students and technology companies from across the world would also be present in the three-day extravaganza that would be held from 21 – 23 Nov 2016.
The four different streams, which will run over the three days will see participation from thousands of students and entrepreneurs.
They are- the World Startup Expo (WSE) Exhibition, which is a 10000 sqm. that will exhibit area with over 500 startups, technology companies, educational institutions, free trade zones and banks; the World Tech Hackathon, which is a coding challenge that will see participation from over 2000 students and corporate.
The WSE Conference, which will be a 2-day conference with high profile national and international speakers and finally the WSE Awards, which is award ceremony acknowledging the work done by startups.
The Expo is giving startups a massive chance to win the regional cup to compete for US$ 1million at the Startup World Cup. Apart from that, it will be a global convergence of over 50 confirmed partnerships from leading incubators, accelerators (public and private), associations and government bodies.
The chance to pitch your idea to the global investors at the Investors Summit and be a part of the mentorship programme by Cocoon Ventures is also a big attraction.
