Hong Kong Tech Firms Win Big at CES 2026 with Frontier Innovations

Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem made a commanding global statement at CES 2026, as a record-breaking delegation of 61 technology companies captured international attention with cutting-edge solutions spanning AI, robotics, digital health, and sustainable technologies. Led by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)—with support from the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association (HKEIA)—the city’s largest-ever presence at CES reinforced Hong Kong’s standing as a leading international innovation and technology (I&T) hub.

Held in Las Vegas from January 6–9, the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion quickly became a magnet for global buyers, investors, and industry leaders. Within the first two days alone, dozens of international brands and decision-makers visited the pavilion to explore partnership opportunities, highlighting strong global appetite for Hong Kong-developed technologies.

A Record-Breaking Pavilion Showcasing Future-Ready Innovation

The expanded Hong Kong Tech Pavilion showcased innovations across five critical technology domains: advanced materials and sustainable technology, AI and data, digital transformation, electronics and robotics, and life and health technologies. This broad representation underlined Hong Kong’s strength in research and development, as well as its ability to translate innovation into commercially viable global solutions.

Participation at CES enables Hong Kong tech firms to access overseas markets while reinforcing the city’s reputation as a gateway connecting global capital, talent, and cutting-edge innovation.

Hong Kong Startups Shine at CES Innovation Awards 2026

Adding to the momentum, three Hong Kong startups were honoured at the CES Innovation Awards 2026, cementing the city’s growing influence on the global technology stage.

Widemount Dynamics Tech emerged as a standout winner, with its Smart Firefighting Robot earning the Best of Innovation Award for Product in Support of Human Security for All—recognised for its advanced capabilities in enhancing emergency response and safety.

In the Digital Health category, Eieling was recognised for FattaLab®, the world’s first intelligence-driven compact fatty liver diagnostic device, while PointFit received accolades for its PF-Sweat Patch, a patented ultra-thin wearable that tracks biomarkers in real time.

Strengthening Hong Kong’s Global Innovation Leadership

Commenting on the achievement, Terry Wong, CEO of HKSTP, said that showcasing Hong Kong’s I&T excellence on a global platform like CES demonstrates the city’s unique convergence of world-class R&D, global talent, and capital. He emphasized HKSTP’s role in connecting innovators with resources and markets to accelerate their global success.

Vivian Chan, Associate Director at HKTDC, highlighted the organisation’s four-decade-long presence at CES, reaffirming its commitment to facilitating cross-border, technology-driven business opportunities through its global network of over 50 offices.

Driving Global Expansion Beyond CES

Building on CES 2026’s momentum, the Hong Kong tech delegation continues to pursue global partnerships, attract talent and investment, and open new market opportunities. These efforts reflect Hong Kong’s pivotal role in linking regional innovation with the global technology ecosystem—positioning the city as a powerful catalyst for the future of frontier technology.
