Coursera and Goolge collaborate to offer Google Cloud Training courses

Google Cloud Training courses will now be available on Coursera – the education focused technology company. The collaboration between Google and Coursera will offer the courses to any current or aspiring data engineers and IT professionals on-demand where the courses will be developed and taught by Google itself.

“Our mission is to enable anyone, anywhere to transform their life through access to the world’s best learning experience. A big part of that is about providing job-specific training in the hottest new fields,” Leah Belsky, Vice President of Global Enterprise Development at Coursera said.

The first in a 5-course specialization program, part of Data Engineering on Google Cloud Specialisation – Big Data and Machine Learning – will be launched this week.

“Cloud computing is one of the most in-demand career paths today, and we’re honored to collaborate with Google to offer the latest cloud courses online, making it easier for developers and IT professionals around the world to master Google Cloud Platform Services,” Belsky added.

Coursera is a platform that allows users the flexibility to take courses according to their own schedules whether on computers or mobile phone through an app.
