To track stocks, Moneycontrol launches voice-enabled app for smart watch
The feature allows a user to get snapshots of the indices or their favourite derivative or the latest NAV of the mutual funds they were tracking.
Enabling ease of access to data on-the-go, Moneycontrol launched India’s first smartwatch application to have voice search for stocks enabled on the Apple watch.
With emphasis on accessibility, the app boasts of the functionality through which users can simply speak to their watch and get stock quotes immediately. All one has to do is open Moneycontrol on their watch, tap on the voice button, and say the name of their favourite stock and get all the relevant information right on their watch.
Network 18 Digital CPO, Avinash Mudaliar said, “The enabling of voice on the Apple smartwatch is our first step into the IOT space. We are launching the Android version in the next few weeks and working on some interesting voice enabled products from the network for platforms.”
