Evans 13″ Heavyweight Snare Batter Head

Unlike a lot of snare heads, the Evans 13″ Heavyweight Snare Batter Head comes with a special feature of two plies of film that withstand high pressures and provide maximum durability and a compressed attack while maintaining a wide dynamic range. One should note that the head does not include the drum and will have to be purchased separately.

Features:

The Reverse Dot feature provides extra durability, focus and attack in the centre.

The Level 360 technology allows the level playing surface of the drumhead, 360 degrees around the drum.

The vertically enhanced collar design guarantees even contact with the critical bearing edge of the drum shell, resulting in: ease of tuning, extended pitch range and optimum quality of sound.

The head comprises of two plies of 10 Mil film, which is as advancement from the regular prototype that employs 7 mil plies. These are preferred in heavier, louder musical styles, and their pronounced attack makes them a great choice for players needing a more articulate sound, like what you often hear in extreme metal, fusion, and R&B.
