Managing revenue is the most critical role of a CEO. It is common sense, for if there is no cash flow into the organisation, the business will fail to survive. Thus, managing expenses and external finance is a consistent requirement for growth of the business. Even the CFO is accountable to the CEO for cash-related matters. The CEO is a moneymaker, who inspires confidence in his team. He has to draw multiple hats to ensure the operating expenses are in check. It is a one man show in which the CEO has to decide everything — big and small. Setting up an overall strategy for the company and communicating it effectively while ensuring that the company’s bank accounts are in the                                         black is the core responsibility of the CEO.
