Aiming to provide Indian start-ups with technology related questions, Axis Bank has now partnered with Amazon’s India arm and Singapore-based Overseas Chinese Banking Corp’s unit.
It has also partnered with cards and payment company Visa, which will help to start-ups drive innovation in payments.
Rajiv Anand, executive director at Axis Bank, said, “Our first batch of startups, due to join in September, will build interesting use cases for AI, Blockchain, Big Data Analytics, robotics and much more that can take consumer banking to the next level.”
Thought Factory, the Bangalore-based centre, will be helping Indian start-ups interact with Amazon to get solutions to their questions regarding technology at no cost.
AISPL will also host events at Thought Factory for further engagement with startups.
Bikram Bedi, the Managing Director of AISPL, India, said, “We are excited to partner with Axis Bank on the Thought Factory ‘Social’ and we see this as an opportunity to further promote the startup ecosystem by hosting interesting startup events, thought leadership talks, boot camps, startup pitches, etc.”
“Startups will also get to benefit from regular architecture review and Ask-an-architect sessions to improve their technology stack implementation”, added Bedi.
