In order to help rain-hit victims of Kerala, an online platform has been launched to connect people willing to welcome others for accommodation. The platform, EachOneHostOne.com was launched today by five entrepreneurs from Chennai will help those affected by rains to relocate to safer places near to them.
Those offering their homes are simply required to add their location and contact number to the website enabling those in need due to the floods in Kerala to reach out.
“The idea was implemented within a week after seeing the plight of the victims. The platform would continue to exist and can be used in the future in other locations too,” team member and founder of a startup, Makesh Gopalakrishnan told reporters in Chennai.
The initiative, EachOneHostOne, also includes four other team members, could help reduce relying on government agents to find accommodation for the displaced in Kerala.
