Rahul Yadav to hold Reddit AMA session
Since his controversial resignation, Rahul Yadav has been in the limelight due to his unconventional decisions in context to Housing.com’s future operations. The most recent move by him that took Housing’s investors and board members by surprise was his act of generosity as he ‘gifted’ away all his shares to the employees of the company. According to reports, this amount stands somewhere between 150-200 crores.
Now to add to his antics, Yadav has decided to hold an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit. An AMA session is an open discussion where the person doing the AMA can present their views in the most honest ways to the public. This announcement comes just days later after he challenged founders of Zomato and Ola to give a substantial part of their shares to the employees as well. Responding to this, both Deepinder Goyal or Zomato and Bhavish Aggarwal of Ola mocked Yadav on social media.
The last time a startup founder hosted an AMA, things did not go as planned. Zomato’s Goyal held such a session in March that resulted in countless downvotes and negative comments due to his vague and cheeky answers. Hopefully, Yadav will have a better one.
Whether it is a marketing gimmick for Housing or a chance to prove his point and tell his side of the story, Yadav surely knows how to stir things up. The AMA is scheduled to take place on 19th May at 6PM.
