Amazon India has announced it’s the fourth year Amazon Prime Day from midnight of Aug 6 to 7 – 48 hours of exclusive shopping intended for prime members with great deals, cashback offers, and blockbuster entertainment from the comfort and safety of their homes. Overall 300 new products expected to launch from top brands such as Samsung, Prestige, Intel, Fabindia, Dabur, Voltas, Godrej, Jabra, Titan, Max Fashion, JBL, Whirlpool, Philips, Bajaj, Usha, Decathlon, Hero Cycles, Eureka Forbes, Sleepwell, L’Oréal Paris, OnePlus, IFB, Microsoft Xbox, Adidas, Xiaomi, Boat, Borosil, Milton.

Amazon India in a press note mentioned that the prime day would pave the way for thousands of MSMEs, Sellers, Artisans, Women Entrepreneurs to sell products under various Amazon programs like Local Shops, Amazon Launchpad, Amazon Saheli, and Amazon Karigar.
Local shops, from all over India will be launching over 150 new product like Blue pottery home décor by Shiv Kripa Blue Pottery (from Jaipur), Ethnic wear from Cotton Shopy (from Surat), Mattresses from Restolex (Bangalore), Fresh flowers from Rose Bazaar (Bangalore), Leather bags from Kompanero (Kolkata), Home-workout essentials from Aprodo (Jalandhar) and also beauty products from Khadi, gluten-free range from Harvest Bowl, high back chairs from Orka, immunity-boosting Ayurvedic juices from Kapiva, vlogging accessories such as ring light from Osaka and many more.
Deals and Bank Offers
Apart from this, there will be deals across Amazon Echo, FireTV, Laptops, Smartphones, Toys, Appliances, Fashion, and everyday Essentials. Members can shop from these millions of unique products with 20% up to INR 200* cashback offer. They can also get a 10% instant discount on using HDFC Bank Debit & Credit Cards and EMI transactions. In addition to this, Amazon Pay rewards Rs.2000+ and 5% reward points + 5% instant discount on everyday payments and shopping with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card.
New OTT content to be released
As part of this Amazon Prime Day celebration, Amazon’s exclusive blockbuster entertainment will launch on it’s Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Reading, and Gaming with Prime to delight prime members. Some of the OTT content to be released include series like Shakuntala Devi (Jul 31), Bandish Bandits (Aug 4). Hollywood movies such as Gemini Man (Jul 22), Birds of Prey (Jul 29), and Kannada direct-to-service title French Biriyani (Jul 24) is launching internationally on Prime Video with Indian and regional titles.
Music Mixtape
Prime Members can also enjoy celebrity curated playlists on Amazon Prime Music called “My Mixtape” with handpicked songs from artists like Madhuri Dixit, Shankar Mahadevan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vidya Balan, Alan Walker, Gopi Sundar and more in multiple languages. Eleven new titles have exclusively been created for Prime Reading, featuring India’s top authors as well as thought leaders, including Ashwin Sanghi, Preeti Shenoy, Ambi Parameswaran, Akshay Manwani, and Anindya Dutta.

Amazon’s Gaming with Prime, enables members to enjoy FREE in-game content with the new content launches across popular mobile games with Prime – including material on Ludo King (#1 downloaded mobile game in India) and World Cricket Championship 3.
