Edward Maya to collaborate with Indian artists for Bengaluru show

International DJ and music composer Edward Maya is all set to bring the roof down for his show in Bengaluru tomorrow (May 30th). But EDM lovers are in for a treat as the Romanian headliner is going to perform with homegrown talents Ankit Tiwari, Kanika Kapoor and Badshah to set the dance floor ablaze with some EDM-influenced Bollywood tunes. He is also collaborating with singer Sona Mohapatra for “Shab”, a Bollywood film.

The concert will take place in White Orchid and has been organized by LIVE Viacom18 and Cineyug and has been titled MTV Bollyland. Apart from Maya, DJ Chetas will also perform.

Edward Maya’s breakthrough “Stereo Love” launched him into superstardom to make him one of the most sought-after DJs in the world. On the other hand, he has always spoken about his love for Indian music.
“I do follow Bollywood. I like Shah Rukh Khan the most,” said Edward Maya.

A statement regarding the event stated that Ankit Tiwari, Kanika Kapoor and Badshah will collaborate with DJ Chetas as well. The concert is aimed at fusing popular Bollywood tracks with pulsating beats of EDM.
