e-Rise EV collaborates with Ipower Batteries to install first of its kind battery service centre

e-Rise EV, a Rohtak based electric two-wheeler OEM has tied up with Ipower Batteries Pvt Ltd, pioneer in EV battery manufacturing, to install the first of its kind EV battery service centre in their physical stores.



This association is aimed at nipping in the bud the issues arising with Lithium-Ion batteries used by various EV OEMs. Under the arrangement Ipower will train the service staff of e-Rise EV to equip them with technical knowledge of handling Li-Ion batteries and other related issues pertaining to batteries the customer faces from time to time. Both e-Rise EV and Ipower are committed to making EV ecosystem safe. Ipower has agreed to train the staff of e-Rise EV in handling EV battery related issues pertaining to the OEM as both the companies are committed towards creating safe and hassle-free transition towards EV for all and instil confidence within the customer as well.

This is also going to take into account the battery supply chain management issue, battery swapping, battery charging and basic battery maintenance related issues. Soon the model will be replicated across all stores of e-Rise EV and its network. “E-Rise EV and Ipower Battery are committed towards ensuring safe EV ecosystem for the customers and other stakeholders in order to instill their confidence into EV. This is crucial and much needed step as knowledge sharing is the key towards innovation and growth within the EV segment. The idea is to reduce the time spent in replacing crucial parts and at the same time help the customer understand how to ensure better battery maintenance and battery repair in the long run.

We want to nip in the bud the situation of EV accidents as we feel with better infrastructure pertaining to EV battery it can be contained and at the same time assure the customer of the vehicle’s safety”, said Mr. Vikas Aggarwal, Founder & MD- Ipower Batteries Pvt Ltd. Ipower is also on a lookout for more such associations with different OEMs as their aim is to build a comprehensive network of like-minded EV companies who are dedicated to making EV ecosystem safe for all to adopt.
