Sabrina Carpenter lit up the final night of Lollapalooza 2025 with a performance that fans won’t forget anytime soon. In a jaw-dropping surprise, the Grammy-winning pop star invited Earth, Wind & Fire to join her on stage, delivering a high-energy collaboration that had Grant Park dancing in unison.

During her Sunday night headlining set, Sabrina Carpenter welcomed the legendary funk and R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire to perform two of their most iconic tracks: “Let’s Groove” and “September.” The crowd erupted as the timeless opening chords of “Let’s Groove” filled the festival grounds, with Carpenter seamlessly trading verses with Earth, Wind & Fire’s vocalists.



As “September” kicked in, the entire park turned into a massive sing-along. Sabrina Carpenter, known for her dynamic stage presence, danced exuberantly with the band, encouraging fans to belt out the classic anthem’s infectious chorus. The synergy between Sabrina Carpenter’s youthful energy and Earth, Wind & Fire’s veteran showmanship made for a festival moment that instantly went viral across social media.

The special appearance was a full-circle moment for Sabrina Carpenter, whose music often blends modern pop with vintage funk and disco influences. The collaboration also served as a nod to her upcoming album, Man’s Best Friend, which is set to release on August 29. The album’s lead single, “Manchild,” recently became Carpenter’s second No. 1 hit, fueling anticipation for what promises to be a career-defining record.
