Lok Capital recently announced that it had closed the first round of Lok Fund III at $41 million. Along with Lok Fund I and II, this brings the total amount under the Lok Capital to an estimated $125 million.
LPs – CDC Group Plc (the Development Finance Institution of the UK), Netherlands Development Finance Company, French development financial institution, Proparco and TIAA Global Asset Management have participated in this round of funding.
The fund will be focused on financial services, healthcare, agriculture and livelihood and will be executed through the next five years. Affordable healthcare, advanced diagnostics and devices remain the focus in healthcare. In agriculture the areas of focus will be supply chain management, dairy and others.
