Watch: Indian Ocean Release Promo for New Album

Tandanu is the name of the upcoming album of the Delhi-based fusion band Indian Ocean. To spread the word, the band released a two-minute long teaser video that captures them in a recording session, letting the Tandanu cat partially out of the bag by engaging in casual banter about the album. Following the withdrawal of guitarist Susmit Sen to start his own venture Susmit Sen Chronicles nearly three years back, this album will feature new musicians partaking and contributing to the album that will comprise seven new songs.

Watch the promo video below. Vocalist and bassist Rahul Ram told us in a previous interview about his stint with film music, “As long as we’re doing our own music how does it matter? If you listen to Black Friday’s songs they sound like our songs, our sound remains unchanged”.
